Hi there, I’m Julia

I love meeting and developing new relationships with people in the cultural sector and learning about what makes them and their organization tick. Supporting and facilitating strategic individual and organisational development to enable transformational change is hugely rewarding to play a part in, enabling people and organisations to fulfil both personal and collective ambitions.

I love to meet clients who are passionate about their work and their organisations, who are open to new thinking to realise their true potential and break new ground, always looking to consider better ways of working and creating an exciting and rewarding environment for their staff.

I have worked with many organisations over a twenty year career in the cultural sector, including BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Northumbria University, Arts Council England, English Heritage, Sponsors Club for Arts & Business, Tyne and Wear Museums and Archives, Mima and a-n.

I would like to do more work with organisations to implement real measurable strategic change across their organisations to help them adapt and grow making them more resilient and confident in their ability to deliver their core objectives. Partnership brokering is also another passion of mine, and I like to embrace opportunities to bring partners together to create ambitious sectoral change that can only be achieved by working together.

I have often been credited with creating a safe space that clients can trust that is underpinned with diplomacy and discretion, enabling the development of strong, honest conversations that can lead to transformational thinking and action.

My specialist areas include brokering and partnership building, internal and external communications, talent development, engaging people and organisations to work strategically on ambitious sectoral change.
