Laura Pottinger has been working in the arts sector for over 20 years. She started working in arts administration with the charity Arts & Business to support herself as a practicing artist and it gradually became her full time job. She has worked in galleries, community arts, museum outreach and audience development, and ran an arts programme in a University before choosing to specialise in fundraising for festivals and theatres. Before joining City of Culture she was operating as a freelance consultant through her own limited company.

Laura joined Coventry City of Culture Trust in October 2020 and since then she and Annabel Decoust have raised over £2m from Trusts, Foundations and Lottery sources
