Interim Finance Assistant
We are looking for an interim freelance Finance Assistant at people make it work at a time of significant development for the cultural sector. We are looking for an individual who brings excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a logical approach to finance systems and processes. You will be comfortable working in a small, fast paced organisation; able to use your initiative to get tasks completed in good time and to a really high standard.
We are offering £20 per hour for self-employed individuals who have availability to undertake the following tasks for us on 16 hour per week, remote basis (we would be willing to work with someone with less capacity potentially):
Book-keeping activities including; reviewing all coding of receipts and payments, and sending out remittance notices, sales invoices etc;
Monitoring credit control, ensuring that all outstanding sales invoices are chased up;
Ensure suppliers, employees and freelancers are paid;
Updating electronic systems to enable the company to work more efficiently and cost- effectively;
Assist with the development, implementation and compliance with company-wide finance processes;
Monitor the Finance team email address.
