CREATIVE PEOPLE AND PLACES

This session is all about approaching the topic of place-based practice. Specifically the session looks a the theme of creative people and places. You will hear from 5 brilliant individuals, all doing work in the creative and cultural sector looking at how place-making happens. They discuss their experience in place-making and the work they have had to do within themselves and also within communities around this topic. You will hear about world-wide partnerships and what we can learn from different people and places around the world and how that can impact practice. The session also touches on the importance of how people need to make creative physical spaces and infrastructure to allow for places to change.
